Visual Identity, promotional material, documentaries and event planning
I’ve worked on the conception and delivery of visual identity for Feminist Internet. The challenge was to create an inclusive visual language for the organisation that would not reproduce gender stereotypes, but be accessible and engaging for a wide audience.
Our manifesto features 8 points, all expressed visually.
The Feminist Internet is a collective of artists, writers, thinkers, makers working collaboratively to challenge the position of internet feminisms through workshops, seminars and a broad spectrum of public engagement.
The event series are hosted across arts institutions, each one experimenting with visuals and metaphors within the identities and the space itself.
Feminist Internet took over The Photographers’ Gallery spring geekender, and investigated online censorship.
Our event at Somerset house titled ‘Feminist Internet Digital Clinic’ featured virus visuals, and explored the topic of online violence and harassment. We treated these topics as viruses.
